Ceramics wheel throwing workshop - Beginners

The classes will run every Tuesday night from 6-9pm for 5 weeks, with a break between the 4th and 5th classes to fire all of your work.
Beginning on the 20th of August through to the 24th of Sept

The classes will take place at my purpose built home studio in Judea, Tauranga.
Class sizes are limited to 5 people, with a minimum of 4 needed for the class to run.

In the beginner classes we will be learning the fundamental skills of wheel throwing: Clay prep, centering, pulling walls and turning.
You will use these skills to then create pieces based around a loose brief for the first four classes, then a break for firing, followed by glazing for the final class. All work will then be fired a second time and ready to collect at a brief get together in the following weeks where we can see everyone's work and talk about the outcomes.

Included is the firing and glazing of up to 8 pieces (size dependent)
Additional pieces can be fired and glazed for a flat fee of $10 pp.

*Cancellations must be made at least a week prior to the start date to obtain a full refund, any later will incur a cancellation fee. If any classes are missed, no make-up classes can be given.
